The very first episode plunges you into the moments before the Battle of Agincourt, October 25th, 1415, imagining the sense of tension amongst the men and the decisions faced by Henry V and his men on that muddy field. This opening podcast is simply a series of readings from a trio of my favourite works: The Face of Battle by John Keegan, military historian; Azincourt, by Bernard Cornwell, novelist; and Henry V by William Shakespeare, poet.
